Note

Add NewORF Surgery List

This creates a new ORF Surgery List.

  1. In the Main Window click OptionsLab ResourcesORF Surgery List.
  2. A new ORF Surgery list can be created in the blank window or by modifying a previously created list.
    • To create an ORF Surgery List from a blank form, at minimum...
      • Fill in a Name
      • Click ICON to add an ORF Surgery Definition line to the table.
      • Fill in one or more of these fields; N-term Cut (#AA), C-term Cut (#AA), 5' Addition, or 3' Addition.
      • Save it by clicking on ORF Surgery ListSave As New ORF Surgery List.
    • To create an ORF Surgery List from a previously created list, at minimum...
      • Bring up previously created lists through a Search.
      • Choose a list to modify by clicking on it
      • Modify the name and, if desired, add to or modify the info box, Status, and Type fields.
      • Alter rows in ORF Surgery Definition
      • Create new rows or delete excess rows as desired
      • Save it by clicking on ORF Surgery ListSave As New ORF Surgery List.

Save As New ORF Surgery List

This saves the ORF Surgery List as a new entry in the database.

  1. Make the ORF Surgery List window active in the Board.
  2. On the ORF Surgery List menu click Save As New ORF Surgery List, or click 'Save as a new ORF Surgery List into the database' in the button bar.

Note

Save ORF Surgery List

This saves the ORF Surgery List to the database.

  1. Make the ORF Surgery List window active in the Board.
  2. On the ORF Surgery List menu click Save ORF Surgery List, or click 'Save the ORF Surgery List into the database' in the button bar.

Note

Delete ORF Surgery List

This removes the ORF Surgery List from the database.

  1. Make the ORF Surgery List window active in the Board.
  2. On the ORF Surgery List menu click Delete ORF Surgery List.
  3. If you are sure you want to remove the ORF Surgery List from the database, Click OK.

Note

Refresh ORF Surgery List

This reverts the data for the ORF Surgery List to the version in the database.

  1. Make the ORF Surgery List window active in the Board.
  2. On the ORF Surgery List menu click Refresh ORF Surgery List.

Note

Clear ORF Surgery List

This deselects any selected ORF Surgery Lists.

  1. Make the ORF Surgery List window active in the Board.
  2. Click ORF Surgery ListClear ORF Surgery List.

Close ORF Surgery List

This closes the window.

  1. Make the ORF Surgery List window active in the Board.
  2. On the ORF Surgery List menu click Close ORF Surgery List, or click the X button on the window's Title bar.

Note

Set ORF Surgery Definitions

ORF Surgery definitions can be set once in a pop-up, then applied to muliple selected lists.

  1. Make the ORF Surgery List window active in the Board.
  2. Select one or more lists.
  3. Click EditSet ORF Surgery Definitions
  4. Fill in fields as desired
  5. Click Set; all selected lists will now contain the definitions from the pop-up.

Search By Owner

  1. In the Main Window click OptionsLab ResourcesORF Surgery List.
  2. Open the 'Search By Owner' popup.
    • Click SearchBy Owner, or
    • Click the 'magnifying glass' on the button bar.
  3. Set the search criteria in the 'Search by Owner' popup.
    • Owner is the Username of the person who created the ORF Surgery List. Wildcard Characters are allowed.
    • Name is the name of an ORF Surgery List. Wildcard Characters are allowed.
    • Type is a drop-down list of ORF Surgery List record Type choices maintained by the lab master.
    • Status is a drop-down list of ORF Surgery List record Status choices maintained by the lab master.
    • Choosable is a checkbox indicating whether that particular ORF Surgery List is visible to a person creating ORF variants.
  4. Click Search.

Note

Search By Date

  1. In the Main Window click OptionsLab ResourcesORF Surgery List.
  2. Open the 'Search By Date" popup.
    • Click SearchBy Date
  3. Set the search criteria in the 'Search by Date' popup.
    • Created By is the date when the ORF Surgery List was created.
    • Created Start Date is the first date in a range of 'Created' dates to be searched.
    • Created End Date is the last date in a range of 'Created' dates to be searched.
    • Modified By is the username of the last person who modified a list.
    • Modified Start Date is the first date in a range of 'Modified' dates to be searched.
    • Modified End Date is the last date in a range of 'Modified' dates to be searched.
    • Type is a drop-down list of ORF Surgery List record Type choices maintained by the lab master.
    • Status is is a drop-down list of ORF Surgery List record Status choices maintained by the lab master.
  4. Click Search.

Note

Search By List

  1. In the Main Window click OptionsLab ResourcesORF Surgery List.
  2. Open the 'Search By List' popup.
    • Click SearchBy List, or
    • Click the 'magnifying glass over a list' on the button bar.
  3. Enter the number or numbers (separated by commas or spaces or lines) of the ORF Surgery List(s) for which you are searching.
  4. Click Search.

Report

This creates a text report for an ORF Surgery List.

  1. Make the ORF Surgery List window active in the Board.
  2. Highlight a list by clicking on it.
  3. In the Report menu click Report.

Text Report All

UNDER CONSTRUCTION. This will create a text report of all ORF Surgery Lists.

  1. Make the ORF Surgery List window active in the Board.
  2. In the Report menu click Text Report All.

Note

Record XML Dump

UNDER CONSTRUCTION. This will create an XML file report for an ORF Surgery List.

  1. Make the ORF Surgery List window active in the Board.
  2. Highlight a list by clicking on it.
  3. In the Report menu click Record XML Dump.

Bulk XML Dump

UNDER CONSTRUCTION. This will create an XML file report of all ORF Surgery Lists.

  1. Make the ORF Surgery List window active in the Board.
  2. In the Report menu click Bulk XML Dump.

Add New Row

This adds a new row to the ORF Surgery Definition field.

  1. Make the ORF Surgery List window active in the Board.
  2. Click on the ICON button on the right side of the ORF Surgery Definition field.

Note

Delete Row

This deletes a row from the ORF Surgery Definition field.

  1. Make the ORF Surgery List window active in the Board.
  2. Highlight the row to be deleted by clicking on it.
  3. Click the ICON button on the right side of the ORF Surgery Definition field.
