Time Request View (RQ)

New Time Request View

This opens a new Time Request window in the Board.

  1. To create a new Time Request view,

Save As New Time Request

This saves the Time Request as a new entry in the database.

  1. Make the Time Request window active in the Board.
  2. In the Time Request menu click Save As New Time Request, or click the Save as a new Time Request button in the button bar.

Save Time Request

This saves the Time Request into the database.

  1. Make the Time Request window active in the Board.
  2. On the Time Request menu click Save Time Request, or click the Save the Time Request button in the button bar.

Delete Time Request

This removes the Time Request from the database.

  1. Make the Time Request window active in the Board.
  2. On the Time Request menu click Delete Time Request.
  3. If you are sure you want to remove the Time Request from the database, Click OK.

Verify Time Request

This verifies a Time Request to ensure that it can be submitted.

  1. Make the Time Request window active in the Board.
  2. On the Time Request menu click Verify Time Request, or click the Verify the current Time Request button in the button bar.
  3. If there are any problems with the Time Request, a pop up will appear indicating which fields need to be corrected and the headers of the fields with error will turn red.

Submit Time Request

This submits a Time Request to a Site for processing.

  1. Make the Time Request window active in the Board.
  2. On the Time Request menu click Submit Time Request, or click the Submit the current Time Request button in the button bar.
  3. If there are any problems with the Time Request, a pop up will appear indicating which fields need to be corrected and the headers of the fields with error will turn red.

Withdraw Time Request

This withdraws a submitted a Time Request.

  1. Make the Time Request window active in the Board.
  2. On the Time Request menu click Withdraw Time Request.

Refresh Time Request

This reverts the data for the Time Request to the version in the database.

  1. Make the Time Request window active in the Board.
  2. On the Time Request menu click Refresh Time Request.
  3. Click Refresh in the 'Are You Sure?' popup.

Close Time Request

This closes the window.

  1. Make the Time Request window active in the Board.
  2. On the Time Request menu click Close Time Request, or click the X button on the window's Title bar.

Generate Report for Time Request

This creates a text report for the Time Request.

  1. Make the Time Request window active in the Board.
  2. In the Report menu click Generate Report for Time Request.

Record XML Dump

This saves an XML report for the Time Request to the disk.

  1. Make the Time Request window active in the Board.
  2. In the Report menu click Record XML Dump.
  3. Fill out the pop up.
    • Inline DTD determines if the DTD (Document Type Definition) should be included in the file.
    • Formatting determines if newlines and spaces should be included in the file.
    • File Name defines the name of the file to be saved.
  4. Click the Save File button.

Add Investigator

This adds a new row to the Investigators field.

  1. Make the Time Request window active in the Board.
  2. Click the ICON button on the right side of the Investigators field.
  3. Enter data into the columns of the new row.

Search and Add Investigators

This shows the investigators from the current User's Time Requests and adds the selected ones to the current Time Request.

  1. Make the Time Request window active in the Board.
  2. Click on the ICON button on the right side of the Investigators field.
  3. The Search is automatically executed, and all the Investigators from the User's Time Requests in the database will be shown in the 'User's Investigators' popup.
  4. Select the Investigator(s) to be added in the 'User's Investigators' popup:
    • Select the Investigator(s) to be added by clicking on the checkbox in the Selected column.
    • To select all the Investigators in the table, click the ICON button on the right side of the popup.
    • To deselect all the Investigators in the table, click the ICON button on the right side of the popup.
  5. Click Add Selected to add the selected Investigator(s) to the Investigators field.

Remove Investigator

This removes the selected row from the Investigators field.

  1. Make the Time Request window active in the Board.
  2. Select a row in the Investigators field.
  3. Click on the ICON button on the right side of the Investigators field.

Display Linked Item in the Board

This displays the Items linked to the Time Request in the Board.

  1. Make the Time Request window active in the Board.
  2. Alternatively, you can
    • select a row in the Linked Items Field, then click on the ICON button on the right side of the Linked Items Field, or
    • drag a row from the Linked Items Field to an open area of the Board and drop it, or
    • double-click on a row in the Linked Items Field.

Add Probe

This adds a new row to the Probes field.

  1. Make the Time Request window active in the Board.
  2. Click the ICON button on the right side of the Probes Field.
  3. Click on the newly created row in the Probes Field, and choose a probe from the drop-down list.

Remove Probe

This removes the selected row from the Probes field.

  1. Make the Time Request window active in the Board.
  2. Select a row in the Probes field.
  3. Click on the ICON button on the right side of the Probes field.

Add Pulse Program

This adds a new row to the Pulse Programs field.

  1. Make the Time Request window active in the Board.
  2. Click the ICON button on the right side of the Pulse Programs Field.
  3. Enter data into the columns of the new row.

Remove Pulse Program

This removes the selected row from the Pulse Programs field.

  1. Make the Time Request window active in the Board.
  2. Select a row in the Pulse Programs field.
  3. Click on the ICON button on the right side of the Pulse Programs field.
